Paul Harding Print Management and Consultancy allows you to benefit from Paul’s wide experience and contacts and business relationships that have been built up over 30 years of successful business.
Paul’s interest in hand made books and hand binding started off as hobby about six years ago. Time has quickly passed and projects have been completed, mainly for friends, but often just for practice.
Repairs of books, including re-sewing and, if necessary, repairing the cases of books can all be carried out with the continued guidance and support of his tutors from Morley College.
Paul’s print consultancy offers an ‘overview’ of a company’s buying techniques and production procedures. It can help a company to see if they are buying well, or whether they could do better. Whether that be cost related, quality related or procedure related.
Paul also offers a ‘Print Audit Service’ that looks at a specific set of costs and analyses them to identify improvements, or areas of concern.
Paul has been running Bespoke Print Workshops since 2006. A client identified a need for a training day for her designers and project managers. Some basic errors were costing them money!
Paul has put together a training day that covers all aspects of how you get a project from conception to completion. From the many different types of printing and finishing, Paul demystifies the jargon used by the print trade helping attendees to understand the process, building understanding and confidence. Workshops normally take place in a printing factory which really helps explain the theory by seeing how everything works in practice.
Each day is ‘bespoke’ to your company. This allows areas you wish to focus on to be expanded and other areas simplified.
A form of this course is taught by Paul at Central St Martins College of Art.
